Erin has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin and a degree in Building Preservation from Belmont College. She previously worked as a web & graphic designer in Madison, WI and as an architectural art conservator & artist throughout the central eastern United States. She teaches Historic Research and Documentation for the Building Preservation Program at Belmont College. She is a board member of Friends of Wheeling, the president West Virginia Independence Hall Foundation, and sits on the Wheeling Arts and Cultural Commission. She was named a West Virginia History Hero in 2017.
